This project aims to establish a wastewater management system for the city of Merzifon to reduce the pollution loads to Paşa Creek. The end user of the wastewater treatment plant is Merzifon Municipality. It will accommodate a population of 71,991 in 2025 and 93,825 in 2040.
The contract has two works components one involving the construction of a Waste Water Treatment Plant for the municipality and the second works contract for the rehabilitation of the water supply and distribution network. Initially, the WWTP will be designed for 43,217 p.e. (population equivalent) and at the second phase it will be expanded until 2025 with the implementation of second stage to serve till 2040 for 64,333 p.e.
MENA has undertaken the Architectural and Static Project design of the Treatment Plant.
