All over the world as well as in Turkey and the increasing need for water due to drought, and the recovery of purified water reuse has become more important in recent years. Recycling and reuse of purified water is becoming an important component of urban, regional and national water resources management.
Excessive use of groundwater in agriculture and industry has led to significant reductions in underground water levels in various regions. For this reason, it has been determined that the treated water obtained from the wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 400,000 m3 / day, which is currently being operated by the İSKİ General Directorate, has been recovered and used in industry or green area irrigation. It is expected that this project will serve as an example and help to create demand for recovery waters.
For this reason, in order to obtain the recovery water in accordance with the relevant regulations for the use in the industry or in the urban green area by the İSKİ General Directorate of Ambarlı Wastewater Treatment Plant 25.000 m3 / day in the first stage and 50.000 m3 / day in the second stage. a project consisting of advanced filtration and disinfection plant, warehouses and pumping stations with advanced treatment technology. According to the need to be clarified in the future, purple network works will be carried out within the scope of a separate project.
