Detailed Description
Project of the Akşehir, in terms of population is the second largest district of Konya, and is located in the western part of Turkey's Central Anatolia Region.
Since the existing wastewater treatment plant in Akşehir Municipality has been completed (stabilization tanks were built in 1987), a new and modern treatment of 62,325 people in order to protect the natural resources in the region and to prevent further damage to the existing ecological balance around Akşehir Lake, plant decided to be constructed.
The project also includes: a) Construction of 55 km of water transmission line b) 92 km of water distribution network c) 36 km of wastewater collection network works.
MENA has undertaken the Architectural and Static Project design of the Treatment Plant.
